Lash Lift Aftercare

Aftercare is so important for the longevity of your lash lift. Not following your aftercare can lead to dropped lift, frizzy or broken lashes. Below is not only the what but the why to good aftercare practices.

AVOID GETTING YOUR LASHES WET FOR 48 HOURS

Getting your lashes wet after a lift can deactivate the solution and negatively affect your lash lift results.

AVOID SAUNAS, STEAM AND SWEAT FOR 48 HOURS

On the same theme as keeping them dry avoid any activity that could cause your lashes to be wet including gym workouts and swimming.

NO WATERPROOF MASCARA

Waterproof mascara can take a bit to get off and rubbing your lashes can compromise your lift. Please do not use it, you can use normal mascara after 24 hours and the results do look amazing.

USE AN AFTERCARE SERUM DAILY

One of the best aftercare tips I can give you is to use a aftercare serum. The process of a lash lift can sometimes dry out your lashes. Aftercare serums help rehydrate and doesn’t leave you with frizzy lashes 3 weeks later.

AVOID SLEEPING ON YOUR FACE

To avoid your lashes bending or coming out of place always try and sleep on your back, I know this is easier said than done and sometimes its not easy but if you can’t you can always swap to a silk pillowcase to help.

BE GENTLE WITH YOUR LASHES

Avoid scrubbing makeup off and rubbing your eyes. Try and avoid playing with or touching them as much as you can and when you do please be gentle.

DO NOT USE A LASH CURLER

Please no! Not only can it ruin your lash lift it can just straight up damage your lashes. The whole point of a lift is to not have to use a curler.

REBOOK IN 6-8 WEEKS FOR MAINTENANCE

Wait a minimum of 6 weeks before getting your next lift. There is such a thing as too early. A lot of clients lashes last up to 8-9 weeks so just decide for yourself, this is just a guideline.
